Vencer, más allá que ganar

LA ALEGRÍA DE VIVIR

Cuando todo parece perdido ocasionalmente la vida nos recuerda que hay una gran diferencia entre vencer y ganar, desde el punto de vista existencial, aunque pudieran ser sinónimos, en materia de redacción.

Vencer tiene que ver con la parte más sublime de la condición humana, la que nace del alma y del espíritu. Ganar es una expresión del ego y el sentido patrimonial de las personas.

Esta idea me la sugirió una de mis maestras existenciales en este fin de semana de suma reflexión e introspección personal, además de la consternación por diversas noticias mundiales.

Ganar se asocia a un logro individual. Vencer lo es a un esfuerzo colectivo, de equipo o de grupo.

Esta idea que pudiera parecer descabellada para redactores o correctores de estilo me remonta al concepto principal de mi segundo libro publicado: rendirse (ego) para triunfar (espíritu).

La filosofía del tener, hacer y ser, citada entre otros por Michel Domit en su libro con el nombre de esas variables, en la cultura occidental identifica como ganadoras a las personas que clasifica por lo que tienen o lo que hacen, cuando en realidad la riqueza absoluta radica en lo que se es.

Entonces, cuando una sociedad logra superar la clasificación por el tener y el hacer, rindiendo el ego ante el espíritu, se puede hablar de vencedores que triunfan por lo que son.

Parecerían conceptos filosóficos profundos, aunque en realidad es en su sencillez donde radica su espiritualidad.

Cuando los seres humanos logramos vencer nuestros miedos colectivamente, somos triunfadores y tomamos posesión de las verdaderas promesas.

Como narra la Biblia en Mateo 16:26, ¿de qué le sirve al hombre ganarse el mundo entero si se pierde a si mismo? ¡Quizás deberíamos volver a este principio en nuestra actualidad tan material e individualista!

Vencer los miedos, vencer las tentaciones, vencer al ego, nos puede llevar al verdadero sentido existencial como especie.

“Pero Moisés les dijo: No tengan miedo. Solo quédense quietos y observen cómo el Señor los rescatará hoy”, cita el libro de Éxodo (14:13), cuando el libertador llevaba al pueblo de Israel a vencer la esclavitud de Egipto.

Seamos vencedores en toda la amplitud de nuestra existencia y logremos con ello nuestros más sublimes propósitos espirituales.
