Este domingo en las transmisiones semanales por redes sociales que hemos revivido por el momento de emergencia que se nos presenta y que ha hecho que nuestra plataforma digital www.laalegriadevivirsinadicciones.com de nueva cuenta pueda aportar un servicio desinteresado a la comunidad, abordamos un tema muy interesante denominado “Adicciones y aislamiento”.

Además de comentar sobre nuestra participación en un programa televisivo la semana pasada en el que describimos la diferencia entre las categorías de consumo de sustancias psicotrópicas (drogas), importante ahora que bajo algunas circunstancias como las actuales, pudiera hacer que se incremente el abuso o incluso se llegue a la dependencia o adicción, los comentarios mayores han sido los relacionados con  los factores de riesgo para la dependencia a sustancia y la codependencia familiar o de pareja, en estos momentos de auto confinamiento.

Como una gran aportación para tan críticos días que vivimos la mayoría de la población y que puede de alguna forma afectar la salud mental de las personas, hemos aplaudido la intervención que los especialistas en adicciones, en psiquiatría y las autoridades de la materia en el gobierno de México, incluyendo la Conadic, tuvieron el pasado viernes en la conferencia de prensa diaria en la que se presenta el panorama internacional y nacional sobre coronavirus (Covid19).

Si bien toda la información puede consultarse en las redes sociales oficiales de la secretaria de salud del gobierno de México, destacamos una en este espacio para nuestros lectores y quienes nos siguen en nuestra ciberplataforma, incluyendo la transmisión de ayer, para que difundamos los canales de atención telefónica y digital de “La Línea de la Vidal” al 018009112000 y en el correo electrónico lalineadelavida@salud.gob.mx donde se puede tener contención, orientación y atención en caso de adicciones o algún trastorno mental que, en esta emergencia, están aumentando de forma natural.

Justo la semana pasada a raíz de nuestra participación televisiva en la que explicamos la diferencia entre uso, abuso y dependencia de drogas, aumentaron las llamadas a nuestro whatsapp de atención, que además de darles por supuesto atención a la brevedad o canalizar a alguno de nuestros especialistas, una de las mayores interrogantes es a dónde poder recurrir en estos momentos por lo que aplaudimos esta plataforma cuyo nombre además es muy alentador y que debemos recomendar a todo quien la necesite, “La Línea de la Vida”.

Un tema del que nos han estado consultando también es el de cómo mejorar la convivencia o las relaciones en este auto confinamiento, por lo que les invitamos a ver el programa de ayer que por cuestión de espacio abreviaremos en este artículo y que puede el lector consultar en nuestro facebook @laalegriadevivirsinadicciones

Por último a propósito de lo que nos han preguntado sobre los factores de riesgo para adictos, ya sea que estén activos o en recuperación y, para sus familiares con posible codependencia, hemos resumido los que nos parecen fundamentales enumerar, con sus respectivos factores de protección antagónicos y que pueden ser aplicados en esta emergencia sanitaria.

El primero es, mucho tiempo libre, exceso de ocio o dificultad para organizar el día bajo el auto confinamiento, incluyendo la sobre exposición a noticias alarmantes, falsas o negativas que circulan en redes sociales y en medios de comunicación. El antídoto en el último tema es el de consultar las fuentes oficiales y solamente con propósitos informativos, evitando la dispersión de pánico a través de las redes. Mientras que para la dispersión del trabajo casero o la curva de aprendizaje de estar en casa todo el día, puede mitigarse con la estructuración de las actividades diarias con horarios y compromisos que eviten el ocio o tiempo libre y que promuevan la cruz de la sobriedad: tiempo y horarios de sueño, de alimentos, de trabajo en línea o estudios en línea, espacio para la sana y creativa convivencia familiar o con los cohabitantes, activación física, esparcimiento (lecturas, películas, etc) y, momentos de reflexión, meditación o relajación mental, todos ellos en orden y con un compromiso individual de su cumplimiento.

El segundo factor de riesgo es la accesibilidad a la sustancia que pueda incrementar su consumo por lo que, sobre todo en las fases donde esté indicada la abstinencia total, se sugiere ponerla bajo llave o bien retirarla de la vivienda para que no esté a la mano, en el caso del alcohol y el tabaco, igual que el de borrar los números telefónicos o formas de contactar a los distribuidores y, borrar las plataformas de apuestas online en el caso de los ludópatas.

En caso de nervios, miedo, angustia o ansiedad, además de la posible consulta con especialistas por las diversas líneas de atención, incluyendo videosesiones, es recomendable realizar técnicas de respiración, de relajación, de meditación o de atención plena, cuyos tutoriales sin distingo si se es principiante o avanzado, pueden encontrarse en las redes sociales sin costo alguno.

Un factor también de riesgo o posible recaída es el cierre de muchos grupos de ayuda mutua o el tratamiento continuo, máxime cuando en algunos de ellos suelen decir: “si faltas a tu junta no preguntes por qué recaíste”. Un factor de protección en este momento es el uso adecuado de la tecnología que permite la integración a juntas virtuales en grupos de acceso público en diferentes plataformas, videosesiones con el padrino y la madrina, videoconsultas con el terapeuta o especialista, pedir ayuda a través de líneas de atención telefónica y por supuesto buscar en internet ya sea en libros electrónicos, videos o audios, toda la literatura oficial de 12 pasos, cursos o talleres de motivación o superación personal y similares.

Finalmente para el factor de riesgo que tiene que ver con la disfuncionalidad de las relaciones al interior del sistema familiar, el propiciar la comunicación asertiva, el establecimiento de reglas muy claras de convivencia y de límites sanos para evitar brotes tóxicos en la interacción y, en casos extremos que pudieran derivar en violencia, acudir de inmediato a líneas de atención y ayuda.
