LA ALEGRÍA DE VIVIR

El tercer paso de los Alcohólicos Anónimos que es el cual muchos consideran como el principio espiritual del programa de recuperación es una prueba de fe, incluso para ateos, agnósticos o creyentes de cualquier tipo de relación con Dios y, junto con la oración de la serenidad, son dos herramientas que tienen como propósito brindarle paz a quienes lo practican.

“Decidimos poner nuestra vida y nuestra voluntad al cuidado de Dios, como cada quien lo concibe”, dice el paso tres, mientras que la oración de la serenidad reza, “Dios concédeme serenidad para aceptar las cosas que no puedo cambiar, valor para cambiar las que sí puedo y sabiduría para distinguir la diferencia”.

En otras palabras, haz lo que te corresponde de la mejor manera posible, confía en el proceso y acepta la vida como es, todo es perfecto.

O como también dicen en los grupos, deja de pedir los huevos al gusto y deja de querer hacer siempre tu voluntad por encima de todos, a veces la vida te sorprende y es mejor aceptarla como viene en lugar de sufrirla en negación o frustración.

Como muchas veces lo he sostenido, el programa de los 12 pasos es un gran concepto de pensamiento que alinea muchas creencias, filosofías de vida y recomendaciones básicas para vivir mejor, por lo que pueden ser aplicadas a cualquier ser humano.

Aceptar que hay un Poder Superior a nosotros y que las cosas no siempre serán como nosotros deseamos, es un principio que todos podríamos adoptar para vivir en paz y en armonía.

Poner a prueba nuestra fe cuando la vida se pone dura es una forma de templarnos y crecer en nuestras máximas expresiones.

Y es que tener fe cuando todo va bien parece hasta común y normal, pero cuando la vida parece darnos la espalda es donde verdaderamente nos forjamos el carácter.

Como en la historia bíblica cuando Dios pone a prueba la fe de Abraham pidiéndole sacrificar a su propio hijo o como cuando le dice a Moisés que vaya a liberar al pueblo de Israel de los egipcios exigiéndole obediencia para poder cumplir su propósito.

En mi segundo libro, “Rendirse para triunfar: la alegría de vivir”, usé la analogía de que, así como el oro se acrisola al fuego, los seres humanos nos templamos en las crisis.

“Considérense muy dichosos cuando tengan que enfrentarse con diversas pruebas, pues ya saben que la prueba de su fe produce perseverancia y la perseverancia debe llevar a feliz término la obra, para que sean perfectos e íntegros sin que les falte nada”, dice la carta de Santiago en la Biblia.

Salir de nuestra zona de confort, aceptar que hay cosas que no podemos cambiar y tener fe con la convicción de que lo que sucederá será lo mejor, aunque difícil, sobre todo cuando la vida nos pone a prueba, es uno de los caminos para encontrar una paz duradera.

Caminemos por fe y no por vista.
