LA ALEGRÍA DE VIVIR

Seguramente en algún momento de crisis o cuando posiblemente la estemos pasando mal, alguna vez hemos escuchado la frase “no te preocupes los planes de Dios son perfectos”, que la mayoría de las veces nos cae muy mal en ese instante.

Y es que cuando alguien está inmerso en un huracán personal, en una “racha mala” o en una crisis “interminable”, lo que menos podríamos entender es que lo que está pasando es parte de un plan perfecto.

Es como cuando nos dicen que la medicina es amarga pero cura y nos la tenemos que tomar. Nadie se quiere tomar una medicina con un mal sabor, como tampoco nadie quiere sufrir, aunque le digan que al final es parte de un plan y que todo estará bien.

De hecho, hoy en día casi nadie está dispuesto a vivir un proceso y la gente busca soluciones rápidas, curas mágicas, caminos fáciles y sin mayores sobresaltos.

Muchos quieren superar una adicción sin ir a un grupo, sin acudir a una terapia y con un proceso “fast track” porque vivimos de prisa y no se quiere esperar mucho para lograr los resultados.

Como cuando alguien quiere vivir una recomposición corporal sin hacer ejercicio, sin ir al gimnasio y sin seguir una dieta, buscando en su lugar una crema mágica, una pastilla milagrosa o una cirugía sin complicaciones.

Pasa igual con quienes quieren una carrera profesional breve, sin exámenes y de preferencia sin asistir al aula.

Y así la lista podría ser interminable, incluyendo cocinar en microondas porque nadie está dispuesto a esperar a que la comida se prepare a fuego lento.

Quizás sea una característica de los tiempos actuales, la impaciencia y el deseo de brincarse los procesos.

Algunos le piden a dios un trabajo, una pareja, salud, dinero y comodidades, sin querer esperar mucho y en el momento en que se “necesita”.

Tal como la persona que sufre un accidente que puede cambiarle la vida y pierde la esperanza de volver a vivir como antes, sin valorar que sigue viva y que su recuperación podría llevar tiempo, dolor y mucho aprendizaje.

Así en las pérdidas de empleo, divorcios, bancarrota, duelos y afines.

Por eso en mis charlas grupales o con pacientes me gusta decirles que los huevos no siempre son al gusto ni cuando uno los quiere y que, como dice la canción, los caminos de la vida no son como yo pensaba, como los imaginaba, no son lo que yo creía.

En mi segundo libro, “Rendirse para triunfar: la alegría de vivir”, cito también a The Beatles y su clásica “El largo y sinuoso camino” (The long and winding road), como una manera de expresar lo que la vida es en realidad.

La mayor parte del tiempo los procesos, aunque no nos gusten, son parte del plan y tenemos que perseverar hasta el final para obtener los resultados tan anhelados.

Abraham tardó casi 100 años en ser padre, Moisés comenzó la liberación de Israel de los egipcios sin pensar que serían 40 años y no 10 días, así como el libro de Job en la Biblia nos muestra que solo a través de la gratitud y la alabanza, después de mucho sufrimiento y desesperanza, este pudo recuperar y tener mucho más de lo que en su momento le fue arrebatado.

Como dice uno de los axiomas de los alcohólicos anónimos, “poco a poco se va lejos”.

Así que, si se está en medio de un proceso, mantenga la fe, haga lo que le corresponda y confíe que los resultados son conforme a un plan perfecto, aunque en ese momento no se entienda.
